Ingredients
- Chicken pieces
- Black pepper
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 1 diced onion
- Water
- Salt
- Spring onion (optional)
Cooking Instructions
- Season chicken with black pepper and brown for a few minutes then set aside.
- In the same pot, add onion, and paprika and sauté for a few minutes.
- Return the chicken to the pot add 2 cups of water and simmer over medium for 1 hour, stirring continuously.
- After an hour, add salt, and one cup of water and continue to cook for another hour or until chicken is tender.
- Finally, add in spring onion and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Best served with dumplings or pap.
