Ingredients
- 500g beef (sirloin) thinly sliced
- ½ teaspoon salt & pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 200g button mushrooms; sliced
- 1 teaspoon corn flour
- 250ml beef broth
- 125ml natural Greek yogurt
- parsley, for garnish
Method
- Season the beef with salt & pepper.
- Add butter to a pan, and once melted add the beef. Cook until browned, making sure to avoid stirring it too much.
- Once the beef is cooked, set aside.
- In the same pan, add the onions. Cook until softened, then add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the mushrooms and sauté.
- Add the corn flour and beef broth. Stir as you add the Greek yogurt and keep stirring and simmer until the sauce has thickened.
- Add the meat again and mix everything together. Garnish with parsley and serve over pasta or rice.
