EASY CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE BOWL

This quick breakfast is absolutely delicious, satisfying and filled with wholesome ingredients to get your day off to a good start.

Serves: 1

Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 banana (approximately 110 g), sliced and frozen
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) cocoa powder
  • 125 ml (½ cup) almond milk, or milk of your choice
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) desiccated coconut
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) peanut butter
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) chia seeds
  • ½ cup large ice blocks
  • toppings of your choice (toasted coconut flakes, fresh berries, cacao nibs, granola, chopped nuts, seeds)

Method

  1. Place all of the ingredients except for the toppings into a blender. Process until well combined and smooth.
  2. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and decorate with your desired toppings. Serve immediately.
