Ingredients
- 1 cup of canned chickpeas
- 1 ½ tablespoons of tahini
- 1 clove of garlic crushed
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- A small handful of parsley
- 2 or 2 mint leaves
- ½ teaspoon crushed green chilli
- salt to taste
Method
- Using a blender blend the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt until smooth.
- Add the fresh parsley, mint, and green chilli and blend again until the herbs are finely chopped. Depending on the consistency you prefer, add in extra olive oil or water.
- Enjoy with flatbread, a side to kebabs or just as it is.
