Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, washed and cut
For the marinade
- 1 teaspoon freshly chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon crushed green chillies
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Methi masala
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
- ½ small lemon, juiced
Other
- ½ teaspoon jeera seeds
- 2 peppercorns
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 tablespoons ghee
- ½ small onion chopped fine
- ½ cup fresh cream
Method
- In a flat pot on medium high heat, add the ghee, onions and whole spice. Fry until onions turn translucent.
- Add the marinated chicken. Mix well.
- Cook for 5 minutes without the lid. Then place the lid back on.
- Cook until liquid is released from the chicken and starts to thicken.
- Add the cream. Give it a good mix. Cook for 5 more minutes.
- Garnish with chopped dhania and chilli flakes.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
