PROTEIN FLAPJACK STACK

Serves: 4-5 flapjacks

Welcome to the easiest guilt free treat you’ll ever make!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 serving protein powder (whey/plant based)
  • 1 banana 
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk (of choice)
  • 1 cup of coconut flour
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • pinch salt

METHOD

  1. Blend the rolled oats in a blender until the texture is fine (like flour).
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix.
  3. Combine all the wet ingredients in a different bowl by mashing the banana, adding the egg, and finishing off with the milk. Mix thoroughly together.
  4. Heat up a nonstick pan on low to medium heat (spray with cooking spray if necessary)
    and pour a ladle of mixture into your pan. This will take 3-4 minutes to cook and then you should start to see little bubbles on the outside. When this happens, you’re ready to flip! Cook on the second side for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Continue until your batch is complete. Stack your flapjacks and top with your choice of toppings! Serve and enjoy!

TOPPINGS: maple syrup, sugar free sauces, nut butter, yoghurt of choice, fruit, nuts.
