SPINACH & FETA ROLLS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 puff pastry roll 
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic 
  • 1 cup raw spinach, rinsed and chopped 
  • 1 block feta, crumbled  
  • ½ cup grated white cheddar 
  • 1 egg (for egg wash) 

METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.

3. Evenly spread the crushed garlic, chopped spinach, crumbled feta and grated white cheddar across the entire pastry.

4. Starting from one end, roll the pastry tightly into a log.

5. Use a piece of string or floss to slice the log into even rolls.

6. Place the rolls on the baking tray, leaving space between them.

7. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the rolls for a golden finish.

8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

9. Let them cool slightly before serving.
