With an upbringing revolving around the family kitchen and culinary passion, Jade de Waal started Food Jams 14 years ago. What started as a personal culinary journey in her Cape Town home and in her journeys around the globe – has now blossomed into a thriving culinary community. The concept evolved organically, transforming the kitchen into a space where friends, family, and strangers alike gather to ‘jam’ with ingredients, creating a symphony of flavours.
Canadian born Jocelyn Myers-Adams, celebrated as a ‘Trailblazer’ by the World Wildlife Fund South Africa (WWF-SA) for her commitment to sustainable food practices, and with 30 years of international experience, brings a wealth of local and global culinary expertise to Food Jams. Her dedication to supporting local providers, embracing organic ingredients aligns perfectly with the Food Jams vision.
