PERI-PERI CHICKEN LIVERS

Ingredients

  • 750g chicken livers
  • ½ chopped union
  • 1 fresh red chilli
  • ½ cup salad tomatoes
  • 1 cup full cream milk
  • 60ml (4 tablespoons) cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon BBQ spice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • salt for seasoning

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat, add the chopped onion and fry until golden.
  2. Add the chicken livers and fry until golden, for about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add tomatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add BBQ spice, paprika, chilli flakes, Italian herbs and chopped red chilli and stir for 2 minutes on low heat.
  5. Add fresh milk, season with salt and let it simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
