CLASSIC COCKTAILS

LONG ISLAND ICED TEA 

 Serves 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 15ml of vodka
  • 15ml of rum
  • 15ml of gin
  • 15ml of syrup
  • 15ml of lemon juice
  • 1 cup of cola
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • lemon wedge to garnish

METHOD

1. Combine all ingredients in a tall glass with ice.

2. Briefly stir to combine.

3. Top with a splash of cola.

4. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

WHISKEY SOUR

 Makes 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 30ml of whiskey 
  • 30ml of lemon juice
  • 30ml honey
  • ½ cup of crushed ice
  • 1 egg white
  • lemon peel to garnish

METHOD

1. Add all ingredients to a mixing tin and shake until properly chilled.

2. Strain over ice into a glass and garnish with lemon peel.

MINT MOJITO 

Makes 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 60ml white rum
  • 30ml lime
  • 4 tablespoons syrup
  • handful fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup soda water
  • 1 cup crushed ice

METHOD

1. Gently muddle mint leaves in a highball glass

2. Add remaining ingredients to the glass.

3. Mix well.

4. Add crushed ice.

5. Garnish with mint sprig and enjoy.
