ROOIBOS & ORANGE SPRITZ

Ingredients

  • • 1 rooibos tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose-leaf rooibos)
  • • 100ml boiling water
  • • 100ml freshly squeezed orange juice
  • • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • • sparkling water or soda water, to top up
  • • ice
  • • orange slices or peel, to garnish
  • • fresh mint (optional), to garnish

Instructions

1.Steep the rooibos in boiling water for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bag and let cool completely.
2.In a glass or jug, stir together cooled rooibos, orange juice, and sweetener if using.
3.Fill a tall glass with ice, pour in the rooibos-orange mixture until ¾ full.
4.Top up with sparkling water.
5.Garnish with orange slice and a sprig of mint.
